YEAH THE GIRLS! INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY AT DREAMBOAT BAR IN BARCELONA

Yeah the Girls! Dreamboat Takeover. The Bar. The Deli. The Disco. All of it.

To celebrate International Women's Day on the 8th of March, we'll be handing over Dreamboat to the most talented women we know in Barcelona to showcase their talents.

From 5pm to 9pm, the girls will be running Dreamboat. On the bar we'll have two of Barcelona's most talented young bartenders, Lisa Hufnagl & Almudena Castro.

Since relocating to Spain 3 years ago Lisa has worked at numerous cocktail bars, done pop ups in Mexico and currently has a home here at Dreamboat Bar where she's slinging some of the most banging drinks in Barcelona.

One of the rising talents in the Bar industry Almudena was recently recognised as the emerging bartender of Spain for 2025 and when she's not travelling Europe for guest shifts you'll find her at Dr Stravinsky ripping out World Class Cocktails.

From start to finish on the decks, the Disco will be provided the legendary local DJ Clara Rigby who's been running Barcelona since we can remember along with the super talented ILANA KORY who's back from her residency in Mallorca bringing her vibe of cute but sassy Disco to Dreamboat.

From the kitchen, one of our favourite local and incredibly talented Chefs, Cristina, who has worked in a number of award winning kitchens and well known restaurants in Barcelona will be taking over the food for your culinary pleasure. By the way, she's also founder of Crema Club, a Women's gastronomic club which organises gastronomic events to promote projects led by women to generate community within the local industry.

On the late shift from 8pm is Barcelona's Rockstar Chef Jaz, founder of Osaka Bang, which has dominated the Barcelona food scene in recent years and has recently opened their new restaurant in San Antoni. It's banging plates straight from Osaka made with ingredients from the local market made by the best.

On site we will also have the super talented artist, Feli from Poke Hontas offering Hand Poked Tattoos with some special small designs available for Women's Day.

Natural wines for the event will be supplied by local Catalan wineries owned and operated by women coming from Carlania Cellar, Talcomraja and La Gutina

The Barcelona Born, up-an-coming women-led Brand Barna Beads will also have an instore pop up to showcase their range of handmade jewellery.

The event will be supported by Condesa Gin, a female led brand and first micro distillery of Mexico City. Master Distiller Hillam Salome is a leader in the industy and her distillery Flor de Luna continuously supports women in a variety of roles the world of spirits. Condesa Gin is now available in Spain and partnering with us celebrating the diversity and talents of local women in Barcelona.
